Government Of Yukon

Every year, the Government of Yukon in collaboration with a number of organizations, institutions and governments host a BioBlitz. This event brings together expert and citizen scientists on the land for what’s being called a ‘biodiversity treasure hunt’.

Identifying and mapping Beringian plant species which are ice-age ‘survivors’, some of which are found nowhere else in the world.
